New Beads Listed

Just a quick post to show you some of the new beads I have posted recently. First up is a pretty cobalt blue flower Big Hole Bead. The silver bead cap really is a nice shiny silver and not partly gold lol, the photo simply would not co operate.



Next up are some pretty violet purple and white dot beads.








This is a pretty set of Frog Green, Turquoise Blue and Cherry Red










And last but certainly not least, Siren's Sunset, a spectacularly hot pink and orange focal bead and one of my personal favorites!

Item of the Day February 8th 2011

Today's item is a lovely woodsy spring set of handmade lampwork glass beads. These are called Into the Forest as the feeling they evoke is of one lightly stepping out of the sunlight, onto the dappled forest path. Cool, green, leafy canopy overhead, the beginnings of adventure! Fire Divas Quartely Jewelry Challenge

February is a time for romance and love. It's also the time to get your jewelry into our Fire Divas Quarterly Jewelry Challenge! The theme is That Special Bead. Lampwork and Sterling Silver Bracelet Midnight

I really like this piece, its simple, subtle, but still elegant and sexy. The beads glow a midnight blue when the light shines through them. The glass beads are made in my home studio.

Artisan Lampwork Focal Bead Purple Confetti on Blue

Artisan lampwork glass focal bead in purples and blues. A layer of clear, a layer of blue, another layer of clear and a layer of purple. This bead has lots of depth due to the many layers.

Jewelry Piece of the Week August 28th 2010

A pretty polka dotted bead hangs from a chain for a bit of whimsy and color. Rustic hand drawn original art etched onto a copper pendant. The copper pendant and the lampwork bead were made in my home studio. You can find this in my studio on Artfire.

Bead of the Week Aug 26th 2010

Bead of the Week July 26th

I really like this particular set of beads. Dark, stormy hues of rich purple, blues and grays, each bead is different, yet similar. Encase in clear to bring out the depth and richness of the patterns in each bead.

Fire Divas Contest Winners!

Some of you may remember that a gentleman named Scott bought beads from me to use in the Fire Divas Summer Challenge. The results are in and Scott won! I am so excited for him and very pleased that my beads were used in the winning piece! Scott did a great job with the design, it was stunning and unique and very wearable.

Bead of the Week June 30th 2010

I love these beads. I love the way the purple shades to red in spots, and how the purple reacts to the ivory with a dark black line. And the way the ivory marbles in the heat of the flame.
